Much Prayer, Much Power

We want to thank the many of you who are holding our family in your prayers. Several of you asked us what are some specific prayer needs for our kids. We mentioned over and over again, our kids need friends here in Iloilo. Eric and Faith have become each other's best friends, but we also know they need the interaction and fun of having neighborhood friends.

The Lord has answered your prayers in this area. My cousin and his family now live in our community, and they have several kids including a young boy between Eric's and Faithy's age. They play together almost everyday, living just two minutes away. This is a huge answer to prayer.

I heard this preached while I was a student at Oral Roberts University:

"No prayer, no power; little prayer, little power; much prayer, much power."

Thanks to many of you for your faithfulness in prayer. Don't stop.

In my eyes you're the "Apostle Paul" of our little home group. We will definitely keep you and family in much prayer so that you will have much power in the Lord. Good to have you back home and safe from your journey. I'm sure you helped in kicking the devil's butt over there. Praise God for missionaries like you (and family). You are truly appreciated. Love - Scott & Margie

Changing Lives Who Will Change Nations

You may recall we have been directing missionary internships for 15 years. We recently completed the first ever Go To Nations (GTN) Timothy Internship Program in the United States (Jacksonville, FL). Five new missionaries were equipped and empowered, they have been filled up and are ready to be sent out!

Generations

Send More Workers, Lord! Go To Nations has a proven equipping track that has been empowering new missionaries to go to the nations (see what I did there?) since the 1980's. Dave and I have been a part of serving with the Equipping Division for the past 15 years.

Balaan Bukid, Guimaras

This being Maundy Thursday we decided to join the pilgrims here in Iloilo and visit the Balaan Bukid on the nearby island of Guimaras. The hike details the stations of the cross, with the culmination of large cross on the highest point on the island. Afterwards we swam at the nearby Alubihod Beach. It was a perfect day to hike to the cross and then also to enjoy some sun and surf.
