Year in Review

2012 was yet another amazing year for our family.

Eric started working at a local coffee shop ministry called FUEL. Eric is a volunteer, learning barista skills.
Chris started ministering along side Go To Nations missionaries Natalie Mattes and Yolanda Ortega, working with them at the San Isidro Relocation village and also at the Calajunan city trash dump site.

Of course she continues to work with the Sonshine Center and the preschool and the scholarship program.

We start every year with our Timothy Internship Program. This year we had our largest batch ever, fifteen interns

Here are eight of them on a trisikad, I think they could fit at least one more.
Of course we continued to work with Camp Sonshine Philippines and the summer camps. Once again,we ministered to over 1,000 kids.

Eric, Faithy, and Danny are not campers anymore, they are assistant counselors, helping with games . . .
helping with crafts . . .

helping lead assembly . . .

helping minister the love of Christ.

Big games require big equipment.

My Mom came to visit (TWICE!) My brother Rey also spent Christmas with us.
We made a family trip to beautiful Thailand, an amazing country we hope to visit again.

We barely fit in a tuk tuk.
We are so blessed to minister with Go To Nations, and the amazing Asia-Pacific Team.
Of course everyone got a year older.
From our family to yours, Happy New Year!

May 2013 be a year of God's continued strength, favor and grace.

Changing Lives Who Will Change Nations

You may recall we have been directing missionary internships for 15 years. We recently completed the first ever Go To Nations (GTN) Timothy Internship Program in the United States (Jacksonville, FL). Five new missionaries were equipped and empowered, they have been filled up and are ready to be sent out!

Generations

Send More Workers, Lord! Go To Nations has a proven equipping track that has been empowering new missionaries to go to the nations (see what I did there?) since the 1980's. Dave and I have been a part of serving with the Equipping Division for the past 15 years.

Balaan Bukid, Guimaras

This being Maundy Thursday we decided to join the pilgrims here in Iloilo and visit the Balaan Bukid on the nearby island of Guimaras. The hike details the stations of the cross, with the culmination of large cross on the highest point on the island. Afterwards we swam at the nearby Alubihod Beach. It was a perfect day to hike to the cross and then also to enjoy some sun and surf.
