Today, along with the Teens of Camp Sonshine, we ministered at the city dump site of Calajunan. I had not been there for a few months, and honestly I forgot how awful this place is. It is overwhelming for me to think that people actually live and work in such a place. In today's Summer heat, the mountains of trash were stinking, smoking heaps.
And yet the kids that live there are so much like any other kids in the world. They loved playing our games and singing our songs, and blessed us with their smiles and laughter. To see more pictures of this awful place, visit our updated website.
Not much I can say here but this breaks my heart.
