Two Weeks Later

So we now have had two full weeks of Summer Camp here at Camp Sonshine Philippines. Chris has been involved with programming, while I have been an activity counselor in charge of Sports and Games. It has been a fun but very challenging summer. I organize and play games all day, and I find that I am not as young as I used to be. In fact at the end of the day, I am completly worn out. It has been challenging but very rewarding as well.

We have one more week of camp here in Iloilo, then we take camp on the road.

I believe I detect that pregnant show and glow :-)

I suspect you are now on the road with the camp. Dave and Chris it is so cool to see you all have such an impact on kids lives. Blessings, blessings and more blessings (and energy) to ya!

Can You Change the World from a Desk?

A common refrain heard on cop shows and action movies, "I don't want to be stuck behind a desk, I want to be on the street where the action is!" Can you change the world from a desk? In a single day I (Dave) had meetings "in" the Philippines, Nepal, the Ukraine, Poland, Guyana, AND the United States, all while sitting at my desk. In February we were promoted as the Vice Presidents of Equipp...

Empowering the Next Generation

A big step in becoming a missionary with Go To Nations is the Timothy Internship Program . This is a 10 week boot camp that prepares you for full time missionary service in a foreign country. I call it a missionary factory. Chris and I were directors of this internship in the Philippines, Thailand, and the US. Recently I traveled to the Philippines to equip and empower Jeff Weimert  and Ryan Hull  to be the directors of the ...
